So this is asshole is on the uofa mall holding this sign. And on the other side it says, “sorority girls are whores!” It literally took everything in me to not push him off that bench and throw shit at him. I understand free speech but really?! I hate the double standard that says some girls deserve rape, because of how we dress or act. The person performing the rape is the weak one that can’t control and himself and has to take advantage of someone. I feel sorry that this guy is so unbelievably ignorant and hope that he will someday become a better person.
It is incredibly sad that there are people like this in my community. What makes this even worse was that he intentionally made this sign on a day where U of A was aiming to unite others against sexual violence. Apparently, this guy didn’t get the memo.
