“What’s the rush? You have your whole life in front of you.”
Children live in a timeless world. They are glad to not be any younger than they are, for every child denies their naivete. They see the future as an endless period of time, so essentially you are looking at someone who makes every decision off their emotions, no calculation, no fear of the unknown.
So to ask “what’s the rush?” is a silly thing- they are simply beings who constantly make their physical world meet and match their emotional.
What a wonderful thing.
